Adya’s Experience
Adya came into the program after trying multiple treatments and consulting dermatologists for her acne. Her periods were regular, scans were clear, and on paper everything appeared “normal.” Yet, her acne persisted, and facial hair pointed toward something deeper that hadn’t been addressed.
When we looked beyond the skin, clear patterns emerged. Certain foods like gluten, inflammatory oils, and dairy when consumed back-to-back were triggering inflammation. She also had undiagnosed elevated androgens contributing to ongoing breakouts. Even small, unconscious habits like frequently touching her face were adding to the inflammatory load.
The focus shifted from symptom control to root-cause healing. By removing trigger foods, supporting her body with targeted nutrients, and introducing a thoughtful supplement strategy, her skin slowly began to calm down. Over time, flare-ups reduced, inflammation settled, and her relationship with her skin changed completely.
One of the most powerful shifts was emotional. When Adya first came in, she shared that looking at her skin triggered panic attacks, something she no longer experiences today. That’s when it became clear that this journey wasn’t just about clearer skin, but about restoring confidence, safety, and balance from within.
“Adya’s case is a perfect example of why acne can’t be treated in isolation. Clear scans and regular periods don’t always mean internal balance. Once we addressed food triggers, androgen imbalance, and inflammatory load together, her skin and, her mental wellbeing began to heal naturally.”
